Tuesday, August 23 – Volleyball Games – The Lady Lopes will play Wellman Union and Sterling City at Wellman beginning with the time to be announced. Thursday, August 25 – High school dress code is “Rock & Roll”. All high school students dress accordingly.

Friday, August 26 – Southland Football – The Eagles will go to Cotton Center for the first game of the season starting at 7pm. Saturday, August 27 – Cross Country – The Eagles Cross Country teams will travel to the LCU Rust Buster Relay in Lubbock starting at 8am.

2022 Top Hand Award presented during final performance of the rodeo

Last Saturday night was one for the books at the 2022 Post Stampede Rodeo! It was an honor presenting the late Mr. Jeremy King “Stumpy” with the 2022 Premier West Texas Top Hand Award. “We are blessed to be a part of this community and are thankful for the many people that helped make this happen.
