Garza County officials take oaths of office for 2025-28

ANNA GIBSON | POST DISPATCH Seconds after midnight three newly elected and reelected county officials took their oaths of office Wednesday, Jan. 1. The new officials include the Sheriff Michael Isbell and Constable of Precinct 2 Bruce Boren.

Growth in holiness

Although the next virtue to discuss is temperance, I prefer to take this week’s article to emphasize the beauty of Christmas: God became man and “dwelt among us” ( John 14:14). Through the trials and tribulations, the anxieties and challenges, we must never forget the goodness of our God.
