Highlights from the past year in Garza County news

Post-Garza has had great highlights such as the city-wide celebrations for Independence Day, Post Stampede Rodeo, and Light Up Post. The schools have seen their own successes through graduations, a Regional Semifinal win for the Antelopes, and outstanding first place for their One Act Play.

Slaton Harvey House becomes 40th Texas state historic site

The Slaton Harvey House in southeastern Lubbock County is now officially the Texas Historical Commission’s 40th State Historic Site, expanding the state-supported program even more firmly and permanently in West Texas.
