Garza County Commissioners endorse the continuation of the Burn Ban

Commissioners met on Wednesday, July 24 for their regular meeting. All commissioners were present.During the meeting, commissioners considered and voted in favor of extending the Burn Ban for the safety of all of Garza County.In accordance with Section §352.

During the week of July 20 - 26, 2024, The Post Municipal Court had 15 cases and collected $3,517.40 in fines and fees.The following cases are closed/guilty/fines and fees in collection:• Damian Juarez: Display Unclean License Plates - $306.20• Karen Campbell: Speeding 75/55 zone $383.

Rodeo time in Post keeps getting bigger

COMMENTARYIt’s rodeo time again for Post America! This is the only thing that has been constant for 84 years in Post. We have had county fairs, steer ropings, and even Christmas happenings, but the rodeo keeps getting bigger.
