House appoints Burrows to committee investigating Panhandle wildfires

Public Facilities Corp gets new board member

TinaSimswasappointed to the Garza County Public Facilities Corporation board during the regularly scheduled Garza County Commissioners Court meeting. The corporation was formed with the Secretary of State on Dec. 10, 1996, to build and fund the prison and detention center.

GARZA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT REPORT

Sheriff Terry Morgan addressed the Garza County Commissioners Court during the regularly scheduled meeting on Monday with his February report. The county jail took in a total of $86,676 from nine counties that have agreements with Garza County to house inmates.
