Knowing that Garza County has a well-coordinated emergency system in place to respond swiftly can provide much-needed reassurance, whether it’s a sudden illness, a severe injury, or any medical emergency.

Celebrating the Women of Post-Garza County EMS

EMS is an integral part of health care and is especially important in Garza County. The Post-Garza County EMS responded to 838 calls during 2023 and 76 callouts in January 2024. The odds of a woman on each call are over 50%. EMS has 27 people on its roster, 15 of whom are women.
