Leap Year

Next week has an extra day in February, making it a leap year. One of the ways to tell if it is a leap year is to check if the year is divisible by 4. That means that every four years there is a leap year.

Hellebores are the flowers for the Lent season

Hellebores are beautiful evergreen perennials that bloom in early spring. There are at least 15 species of Hellebores and numerous hybrids that are often misidentified in the horticulture trade.

School board discusses teacher housing

Post I.S.D. board of trustees met Monday, Feb. 12 in the Post High School Library. Superintendent Cassie Petty stressed that the school’s biggest problem is staff retention. “We must try to keep our teachers and stop the constant change,” she told the board.
