Casey’s, the third-largest convenience retailer and fifth-largest pizza chain in the U.S., with locations primarily in the Midwest and South, celebrated its grand opening in Post on Wednesday, April 15, officially joining the community.

Garza County declares Soil Stewardship Week, April 25–May 6

County Judge Lee Norman, with approval from the Garza County commissioners court, has signed a proclamation designating April 25 through May 6, 2026, as Soil Stewardship Week in Garza County. The action was taken at the request of the Garza Soil & Water Conservation District.
