Georgetown man killed in motorcycle crash on US 84

A fatal motorcycle crash claimed the life of a Georgetown man on US Highway 84, four miles southeast of Post, on July 29, 2023. The incident occurred at 4:59 p.m. when 63-year-old Dennis Allen Mundfrom, of Georgetown, Texas, lost control of his 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The only certainty this crop year

Garza Co. 4-H competes at State 4-H Horse Show

Four local 4-H members represented Garza County at the 2023 Texas State 4-H Horse Show in Bryan last week amid triple-digit temps and double-digit humidity. This annual week-long competition brings together 4-H youth from all over Texas to compete for the “best of the best” in equine events.
