GCHCD accepts local landscape bid

Garza County Health Care District Board of Directors accepted and awarded the landscaping project for the new building area to Julio Rojas, a local contractor, during their meeting on July 20. The board received two bids, Rojas and Tom’s Tree Place in Lubbock.

Warden provides prison update to County

MTC Warden Ricardo Martinez updated the Garza County Commissioners Court on Monday during their regular scheduled meeting, saying they expect to be at capacity this week. “There are 949 inmates at the Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility today.
