April Sheriff’s Service Report

Garza County Law Enforcement Center reported a total of 559 service calls for the month of April. Of the 559 call sheets created, there were 349 calls for the City of Post and 167 County calls. The Sheriff’s Office unlocked 17 cars during the month of April.

The Post Rotary Club will have a working meeting on Tuesday, May 23, at noon to prepare the flags for the Memorial Day Parade of Flags. Although this is a Rotary fundraiser for their scholarship program, it’s a way for Post residents to demonstrate their pride and patriotism.

Memorial Day will be celebrated on Monday, May 29, and the traditional placing of the flags at Terrace Cemetery to honor veterans will take place Saturday, May 27 at 9 a.m.
