When I drive down Post’s Main Street in mid-November through December, the lights in and on every store, the lights dangling through the trees in the median, and the lighted figures and colorful wreaths sure grab my heart. It’s like a spark of Christmas magic filling me with excitement and hope.

AUSTIN— The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is stepping up enforcement for Thanksgiving to ensure Texans have a safe holiday. Texas Highway Patrol (THP) Troopers will increase enforcement efforts from Wednesday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Dec. 1.
