PENNY WARS “A penny saved is a penny earned,” Benjamin Franklin. The Post Elementary students participated in a penny war between homeroom teams to raise money for the South Plains Honor Flight (SPHF). Having raised $2,000, a veteran will have the three-day ‘trip of a lifetime’ paid for.
ON THE LOOSE Sunday afternoon, December 8, Dawn Graves found herself chasing a goat that has been on the loose since Saturday. A farmer from Lubbock lost the goat while traveling through town on his way to deliver the goat to a one-year-old's birthday.
