Texas State Troopers Association opens 2025 scholarship applications

The Texas State Troopers Association (TSTA) is pleased to announce that the application period for the 2025 TSTA Scholarship Program has opened and will run through May 30, 2025.This year, TSTA will award ten scholarships of $500 each to deserving students pursuing higher education.

Time to plant onions

It is time to get those onion transplants into the garden.Onions have an optimum temperature range of 55° to 75° for ideal growth and bulb development. In mid-March day temperatures are normally in the 70s, while night temperatures are still cool.

Lady Lope softball 6-8 after impressive wins last week

The Post Lady Lope softball team traveled to Hermleigh on Tuesday, Feb. 25, for their ninth game of the season. The Lady Lopes entered the game with an overall record of 3-5 and were looking to pull off a massive upset against a red-hot Cardinals team.
