Memorial Mass for Trinidad Garza Apolinar, 65, of Post will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Tahoka with Fr. John Rathinam officiating. Burial in Nevels Cemetery in Tahoka will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. A rosary was held at 6 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Trinidad died on September 16, 2022 at her home in Post. She was born in Athens, Texas on April 12, 1957 to Santos B. and Gloria (Moya) Garza. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son: Victoriano and Virginia Herrera of Tahoka, four daughters: San Juanita Gonzalez of Big Spring, Ermalinda Aguilar of Lubbock, Merry and Enrique Damian of Lubbock and Regina and Miguel Herrera de Rodriguez of Dallas, three brothers: Vince Garza of New Home, Romero Garza of Pampa, Raul Garza of Tahoka and one sister: Martina Garza of Pampa, 14 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandsons: Fernando Gonzalez and Juan Antonio Herrera.
