The Bold Gold (2-6) traveled to Floydada last week to take on the Whirlwinds (5-3). After a hard-fought back-and-forth game, the Whirlwinds came on top 35-34.
Coach John Wright said, “Friday night in Floydada was a heartbreaker for us. Our kids played so hard and played well. By most standards, we won the game on all fronts except the scoreboard.”
