SOFIA PALOS

Sofia Palos 98, of Lubbock, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023 at her residence.

Holy Mass of Christian Burial was held on Jan. 30, 2023 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Jacob Powell officiating. Interment followed at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Sofia was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Zombrerete Zacatecas, Mexico to the late Pascual and Vivian (Fernandez) Hernandez. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. Sofia is survived by four daughters Maria Ayala of California, Margarita Torres of Mexico, Rocio DelGadu of Mexico, Juana Reyna of Lubbock, TX.; three sons Jesus Palos of Lubbock, TX., Angel Palos of Lubbock, TX., Juan Palos of Lubbock, TX.; forty-two grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, thirty-seven great-great-grandchildren and seven greatgreat- great-grandchildren.
