Ina Beth Green Mitchell, 64, passed away peacefully at home in Midland, Texas, on May 28, 2025.
Beth was born on September 8,1960 in Bernice, La. She moved with her family in 1969 to Post, Texas, where she attended Post schools and Calvary Baptist Church. She is a 1979 graduate of Post High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Barbara Capps Green; paternal grandparents Albert and Clara Green; and maternal grandparents Paul and Inez Capps.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Chris Mitchell; her two sons, James Mitchell of Bryan, Tex., and John Mitchell of Midland, Tex., and one daughter, Jana Beth Mitchell of Lenorah, Tex; one grandson, Grayson Rivera of Lenorah, Tex; and three sisters, Gina Sherrard of Haslet, Tex., Jami Gajeski of El Dorado, Ark., and Pam Mason of Spearsville, La.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Jimmy Valdez officiating, at Terrace Cemetery in Post under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home in Post, Texas.
