Alberta Sue Trammell, age 84, passed away in Childress, Texas, on June 24, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Graveside services were held on June 28, 2025, at the Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis, Okla., with Glynn Willis officiating.
Visitation was scheduled for June 27, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home.
Alberta Sue Trammell was born May 30,1941 to the late Albert Rivers and Annie Susan (Atwood) Rivers in Hollis, Okla. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church and loved her Truman Webb Sunday school class. Sue was an accountant and office manager to Stelzer Oil for over fifty years. She also ran a jewelry shop in Post, Texas, called Texas Treasures for over twenty years.
Sue is proceeded in death by her husband, Jack Trammell; father, Albert Rivers; mother, Anne Rivers; and brother, Jim Rivers.
She is survived by daughter, Kim Allen and husband, Jay; granddaughters Cricket Timmons and husband, Casey, Shea Ellifritz and husband, Lonnie; great-grandchildren J’leigh Ross, Kaleigh Ellifritz, Caler, Cyler and Piper Timmons; and best friend Gay Hicks.
