Catherine Pattillo Carter Richburg, 93, of Lubbock, Texas, formerly of Post, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at Terrace Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Gregory officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.
Catherine was born Jan. 12, 1932, in Dalhart, Texas, to the late T. R. and Etha Pattillo Carter. She married Duard Wayne Richburg on June 23, 1957, in Post. She was a homemaker.
Catherine is survived by her daughter, Catherine A. Richburg of Lubbock; son Ken Richburg of Lubbock; brother Roy Carter of Pawling, N.Y.; grandsons Joshua B. Richburg of Longview and Kenneth Paul Richburg of Lubbock; and great-grandson Blaze Richburg of Longview.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and siblings Tom Carter, Fay Cox and Jonnie Richardson.
