ANN STELZER
Ann Stelzer was born in Post, TX, on Dec. 24, 1953, to Ted and Eddie Aten. Over the years, she worked various financial and administrative roles, from Citizens Bank of Post to Austin Oral Surgery in Austin.
She was effortlessly a best friend and mother to many. She could easily be your cheerleader and had the ability to make anyone feel seen and understood. Beyond that, she was most notably remembered for her wit and colorful sense of humor. It was hard to take any situation too seriously when Ann was around.
Her favorite place to be in the whole world was at home cooking, surrounded by the laughter and love of her children and grandchild. She kept life simple and was content with the small things in life.
She is preceded in death by father Ted and mother Eddie Aten and is survived by brother Bill ( Donna) Aten, nephew Ross ( Kim) Aten, son Michael Stelzer, daughter Kim Samsel and grandson Joseph Samsel.
A Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 28, and a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29. Both services will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church.
