Bobby Joe Smith, a lifelong Post resident went to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was born in Post on October 10,1963 to Jimmy Durrell Smith and Edna Annell Bruton Smith. Bobby earned an associate degree from South Plains College, and was a Certified Nursing Associate. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jimmy Smith, Jr. He is survived by brothers Jerry Don (Joan) Smith of Haltom City, TX, Billy (Katrina) Smith of Lubbock, TX, Wayne (Lisa) Smith and Wade Smith both of Post, sister Janie Smith of Post, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
