Chester “Chet” Dale Warren 71, of Post passed away Friday December 30, 2022, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. A gravesite service officiated by Curt Greer, Pastor of Caprock Springs Fellowship, will be at Post Terrace Cemetery on Monday, January 16th at 10:00 am.
Chet was born May 5, 1951 in Post, Texas to the late Ray and Henrietta (Landtroop) Warren. He was a hard worker. He was a good man. He was always a good friend. He always did the best of his abilities to help others. He was fondly known to many as “Uncle Sy”.
He is survived by his brothers Delroy (Marie) and Linford (Sue) of Post, son Dewayne (Labeth) of Bluff Dale, four grandchildren Rebecca (Anthony), Angelica, Patrick, and Anna, two great-grandchildren Thiago and Grayson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sherry Redman, youngest brother Joel Warren and son Patrick Ray Warren.
