Ricky Lee Gill, 73, of Post, TX, passed from this earth on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. He was born May 9, 1951, he married the love of his life, Margie Gill, in Post, TX. The service was held March 21, 2025, at Living Water Apostolic Church in Post.
In his younger years, Ricky was an avid fisherman, but his true passion was riding his motorcycle and running his business, Gills Oilfield Construction.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 53 years, Margie Gill of Post; his sons, Lance Gill (Lisa) of Post, Jason Gill (Jammie) of Post; six grandchildren: Cheyenne and Trenton Jones of Lubbock, Ezra Gill, Zavan Gill, Avory Gill, Uriah Gill, and Raeley Gill all of Post; and the many extra grandkids that he lovingly adopted as his own over the years. He is also survived by his brother Archie Gill and sister Vickie Gill of Post; and sister Lois Ann of Oklahoma.
Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Allene and William Gill, and one sister Evelyn Vines.
The family thanks all the wonderful people for all the beautiful flowers, plants, cards, and food, also those who made donations in honor of his name.
