Willard Alvin Yarbro,
88, of Post, Texas, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at the Beacon Community Nazarene Church with Chuck Gibson officiating. Interment followed at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.
Willard was born April 30, 1937, in Loving, N. Mex., to the late Jeff Davis and Ida Glover (Caraway) Yarbro. He married Wilma Allen on March 31, 1961, in Post. Willard worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for the county.
He is survived by his son, Burton Yarbro, and wife, Jennifer, of Lytle, Texas; grandchildren Amanda Medina of Las Cruces, N.Mex., and Corey Yarbro of San Antonio, Texas; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
