She married Henry Charles Mannis on March 12, 1956, in Gallup, New Mexico. They raised three daughters Marian Charlette Holloway, Leslie Lynn Tatum, and Shannon Elizabeth Mannis.

The two of them were never apart; if you saw Louis, you always saw Gloria. Their love for each other was unconditional, and they enjoyed a good life together in Post. They had one son, Jason Abraham, who is the pride and joy of their lives. Louis was so loved by his family and all of his friends, and he loved everyone, even if they were strangers. He had great faith in God, and he prayed for everyone he knew and even those he didn’t know. The size of his heart and compassion could not be measured in words.
