Betty Sue Peters Curry was born Feb. 23, 1948, in Wichita Falls, TX to Marvin Franklin Peters and Lois Mae Bailey Peters. Betty was raised in Burkburnett and Electra, TX. She was the baby of four sisters, Wanda Lou Kessler, Margie Nell Hines, and Patsy Marie Martin.

Eunice Pope 1924-2025

Eunice N. Pope was born in Wilson, TX on Oct. 19, 1924. She departed this life Feb. 28, 2025, at the incredible age of 100. She has lived in Post since 1991 when she moved with her husband Alton Pope who preceded her in death in 2006.

Richard Fuentes 1958-2025

Richard Fuentes was born March 5, 1958, to the late Amado Fuentes Sr. and Agapita M. Fuentes. Richard was the tenth of 12 children between Amado and Agapita. There were six boys and six girls. His father had an additional seven children.Richard attended and graduated from Post High School.

Polly (Pauline) Saunders Cravy was born March 27, 1935, to Jake and Mable (Ross) Saunders of Dallas. She was one of three girls and four boys. Polly was raised by her aunt and uncle and attended school in Southland, TX.

Carol Traylor 1945 - 2025

Carol Traylor, 79, earned her wings to heaven and landed in the arms of Jesus on Feb. 4, 2025. Carol died at home surrounded by loved ones. There was a graveside service Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at Terrace Cemetery in Post, TX, with Reverend Danny Williams officiating.
