11/12 Softball All-Stars end their journey in Sectionals

The Post 11/12 Little Leage softball team coached by Steve Gonzales traveled to Ralls on June 26 to compete in the Sectionals tournament.

Southland summer athletic update

UIL approves new rule for middle school football

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) Legislative Council gathered in Austin on June 10 for its summer meeting. The council heard from members of the public and made decisions on proposed rule changes in UIL academics, athletics, music, and policy.

Little League softball competes in All-Star weekend

The Texas Little League District 38 All-Star Tournaments began on June 13. The all-star baseball teams from across the South Plains gathered in Tahoka, Crosbyton, and New Home for an opportunity to compete in the district tournament.The tournaments are in a double-elimination format.
