Garza County 4-H members participated in the Spring Shooting contest April 19, in Palmers. Results werer spring shoot at palmers my daughter Leightyn Reiter won ladies handicap and ladies singles. Bryan Saucedo won junior handicap.

The Post Lady Lopes softball team traveled to Lubbock Cooper for their 2A Division 1 Bi-District Round series against the Abernathy Lady Lopes. The two schools would meet again after playing each other on February 17.

The Post Bold Gold and Lady Lope track teams traveled to West Texas A&M last Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 19, to compete in the 2A Region 1 Track Meet. Post competed against the likes of Ropes, Abernathy, Wink, Panhandle, Sundown, Stratford, Farwell, etc.

The Southland Eagles and Lady Eagles track teams traveled to Levelland to compete at the 1A Region 1 Track Meet at South Plains College. Southland competed against Borden County, Klondike, Spur, etc. The top four finishers from each event automatically qualified for the State Track Meet at Mike A.
