The Post Lady Lopes softball team hosted the Sundown Roughettes for their regular-season finale April 14 at David Nichols Park. A victory over Sundown would force a third game to decide the district championship.Sundown scored first in the top of the first inning by driving in two runs.

The Post Bold Gold baseball team hosted the Sundown Roughnecks on April 14 at Norm Cash Field. The Bold Gold entered the game riding a four-game winning streak. A victory would keep the Antelopes within arm’s reach of the final playoff spot in the district standings.

The Southland Eagles and Lady Eagles track and field teams competed at the 1A District 7 and 8 area meet at Post ISD on April 15. Southland competed against Crosbyton, Lorenzo, O’Donnell, Petersburg and Wilson from District 7.
