Tech announces Fall Honor List

LUBBOCK, TX - Elizabeth Payton, daughter of Tom and Terry Payton, has been named to the President’s Fall Semester Honor Roll at Texas Tech University. Elizabeth is in the College of Arts and Sciences. The President’s Honor List is awarded to students who have attained a grade point average of 4.

Midwestern State University Announces Fall Honor Rolls

WICHITA FALLS, TX - Midwestern State University recognized 1,040 honor students for the Fall 2023 semester. The President’s Honor Roll included 400 students, the Provost’s Honor Roll included 297 students and the Dean’s Honor Roll included 343 students.

Black-eyes Peas and Rice

Black-eyed peas and rice are a fantastic way to bring in the New Year! If you missed your chance or have plenty left over, perhaps a different way to serve them is in order. On another note, I continue to be shocked that some regions around the country only feed black-eyed peas to their livestock.
