A bestselling author featured in both The New York Times and USA Today, Linda Broday, is scheduled to share a review and an excerpt of her two latest books, Love’s First Light and Wildwood Healer on November 11 at 5 p.m. at the Heritage House.

Star Feed & Seed Big Buck Contest underway for 2024–25

Antelopes lasso Mustangs

Last week the Post Bold Gold Antelopes hosted the Olton Mustangs for their second game of district play. It was a windy evening at Jimmie Redman Memorial Stadium and both teams were tasked to manage this obstacle. The game marked the 12th time the two schools have met on the football field.

Eagles get heartbreaking kick from Mustangs

The Southland Eagles traveled to Sands last week for their second game of district play. The Eagles came into the week with a 2-4 overall record and a 0-1 district record. Sands entered the game with three straight wins over the Eagles leading the all-time series 3-0.

Post citizen humbly turns 100

One hundred years ago on October 19, 1924, a little girl was born to Jeff Davis and Ida Yarbro near Woodrow in Lubbock. She was named Eunice Nova Yarbro and was the tenth child of the family.
