Contract extension approved for PISD Superintendent

The January meeting of the Post Independent School Board was held Tuesday, January 10, 2023. All members of the board along with Superintendent Cassie Petty, and CFO Jeff Baum were present. The main items on the agenda were the evaluation and contract extension of Superintendent Petty.

A detention hearing was held at the Garza County Detention Center Courtroom for two juveniles that had been detained for burglary of a building. The juveniles were detained at the detention center for three days and two nights prior to the hearing. The burglary in question occurred on Dec.
