Recognizing how newspapers make a difference

National Newspaper Week begins October 2. While this isn’t the typical holiday that most families celebrate, it does provide a good opportunity to take a moment and recognize all the ways that local newspapers make a difference in communities across America.

Superman is a guy (actually a Kryptonian) first appeared as a comic book hero in 1939. What makes him so special? Superpowers. First, he can fly. How cool is that? He’s also good-looking and gentlemanly, with a keen sense of style. How many guys can wear a cape gracefully?

Post Public Library Notes
