The Southland Eagles traveled to Loop last week for their district opener against the Loop Longhorns. Both the Eagles and Longhorns had a bye the previous week and were looking to start their run toward the playoffs with a 1-0 district record.

Post volleyball falls to Plains

The Post Lady Lopes returned home for their third district volleyball game last Saturday, against the Plains Cowgirls after losing to the Ropes Lady Eagles the previous Tuesday. The Lady Lopes entered the contest with a 5-16 overall record and were seeking their first district win on the season.
