Ada Lou Chambless Bird 88, of Post, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving daughters. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at the Bird Family Ranch Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Don E. Cole, age 73, of Bandera, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 6, 2023. He was born in Post, TX. to J.B. Cole and Sarah Adams Cole on October 8, 1949. Don E. graduated from Post High school in 1969.

Chester “Chet” Dale Warren 71, of Post passed away Friday December 30, 2022, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. A gravesite service officiated by Curt Greer, Pastor of Caprock Springs Fellowship, will be at Post Terrace Cemetery on Monday, January 16th at 10:00 am.

Harvey Gene Moore

Harvey Gene Moore, 92, of Slaton, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022. Gene was born September 19, 1930 in Cuthand to Harvey Lester and Geneva Moore. Gene was a Staff Sergeant with the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He served with the Slaton and Post Volunteer Fire Departments.

Gerarda Esthela Montañez age 65 loving wife, mother, and adoring grandmother passed away peacefully to be with the Lord early December 30, 2022 in Rincon de Romos Aguascalientes. Esthela was born on April 15, 1957 to Cruz and Modesta Delgado in Pabellon De Arteaga Ags.

Lois J. Harvell, age 94, loving mother of 9, adoring granny and great granny, went peacefully to be with the Lord in the late hours of December 23, 2022. Lois was born November 3, 1928 in Snyder, Texas to parents Lee Hardin and Velma Hardin Wilson.

Carter Gene White, 90, of Hale Center, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022. A funeral service was held Wednesday, December 28 at First Baptist Church in Hale Center, Texas with Rev. Taylor Smith officiating. Interment followed at Terrace Cemetery in Post, Texas.

Valerie Melton went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Valerie was born on April 13, 1968 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Jimmy Baker and Kay Ballentine Horner. She attended Post High School and graduated in 1986. Valerie married Randy Melton on November 15, 2002.
